Decide now! The Flower Fair is on its 10th year anniversary and invites you to have a great time celebrating as well for such a distinguished occasion. You have a variety of ways to participate in the next edition of The Fair. You can propose a conference to be presented in the Congress, select the stand at which you would most like to exhibit, choose your form of investment, or turn yourself into an ally and active collaborator of the event. All of those and much more. Join us in this celebration: you also make the Fair!
Objectives
• Act as a center of promotion, and scientific and technological update of horticulture, with an emphasis on flower-growing
• Function as a space for the trade and commerce of cut flowers, consumables, agricultural tech, and derived products from horticulture, including foodstuffs
• Encourage the interrelation among public and private institutions dedicated to the development of national agriculture, as well as the interchange of experiences, the dialogue and the creation of new alliances between those interested in horticulture
• Attract new visitors and strengthen the condition of the Fair as a source of incentive to tourism in the Andean city of Mérida
The Congress
The Congress is directed to students of institutes and universities dedicated to agriculture, architecture and landscaping, hatchery, gardening, as well as actual and potential producers and specialists, and the general public.
Throughout the Congress, national and foreign specialists will lecture on the innovation of flower-growing, landscaping, gardening and edible agriculture products.

Forms of registration
Deposit to the order of “ITABO S.R.L.”, to the banking entity “Banco Provincial”, Checking Account (Cuenta Corriente) N˚ 0108-2414-01-00019482. Persons who have priorly registered will receive credentials on July 3, 2009, at the event venue between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM. You may also register on-site for the Congress on July 2 at the event venue between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM.
The registration for the Congress includes: the attendance to the programmed activities during July 3, 4 and 5, 2009, the visit to the Botanical Garden of Mérida on July 6, as well as the information material of the event, your name tag, a CD with the content of the conferences, the participation certificate as well as the refreshments throughout the event.
Exhibition of agricultural technology and consumables, as well as programs and projects for the promotion of agriculture with the presence of leading enterprises in the commerce of technology and consumables, financial groups, insurers and academic institutions engaged with the agro-development of the country.

The participation at the stands includes:
Credential of exhibitor; participation certificate; logistic support and advising on the exhibition floor.
Stand equipment: exhibition panel, industrial aluminum frames, spotlights (2 lamps of 75 W ea.), frontal frieze with company name, double socket of 110 W, 1 table and 2 chairs.
Exhibition open space
Where companies will exhibit equipment, machinery, and consumables, among others.
Business Hall, space where you and your enterprise can tend to your guests, with chairs, table, drinks and garnished foods provided, and a protocol service as the enterprise should require it.
Exhibition of National and Regional Flower-growing, representing the level of development of Venezuelan flower growing.
Exhibition of Ikebana Flower Arrangements
Exhibition of Contemporary Flower Arrangements, representing the contemporary trends in the design of flower arrangements.
Flower Arrangements Contest, where professionals as well as amateurs will be able to participate, abiding by the established norms.
Flower Arrangements Workshop, of 8 hours, given by highly qualified specialists.
Made Here. The Craftwork and Insdustrial Fair, which will include different types of products: ornamental, utilitarian or practical, edible, medicinal, cosmetic, amongst others, both of handcraft and industrial character. Within the framework of this section, and as a novelty of the present year, we will showcase these products as a space for commerce.

Preserving the Environment. What can you do?
The Second Artistic and Literary Contest summoned by the Cátedra de la Paz y Derechos Humanos “Monseñor Oscar Arnulfo Romero”, in which 1,000 schoolchildren will have participated from different schools in the 9 municipalities of the State of Mérida, and where the winner will be announced in one of the exhibitions at The Flower Fair venue.
